About

The 20th Takehara Machinami Hina Meguri will be held from Saturday, February 7 to Sunday, March 22, 2026!

During the event, around 200 sets of Hina dolls handed down in old Takehara homes from the Edo period onward will be displayed at various facilities throughout the Takehara Historic Preservation District.
Since the decorations, facial expressions, and sizes vary by era, it’s fun to compare them as you go around♪
There will also be a variety of events during the period, including live koto and shamisen performances, Hina-themed food, and a townscape tour guided by Princess Kaguya.
It’s an event everyone can enjoy, from kids to adults!
