The Isomiya Hachiman Shrine Autumn Grand Festival will be held on September 13 (Sat) and 14 (Sun), 2025!

~ Usual event details ~
An autumn grand festival to thank the gods for a bountiful harvest.
This is a traditional Takehara festival, with futon taiko, kishin, tengu, red and blue oni, and shishi heads parading through town.

• Let’s all sing Showa-era pop songs
• Festival lottery

Food stalls will be open both days!

Isomiya Hachiman Shrine → Sakaemachi → Kyohomachi → Takehara Elementary School → In front of Chuo Kodomoen → Takehara Historic Preservation District → Shorenji Temple → Former Nishi Kindergarten [10-minute break] → Kusunoki-dori (turn right at the corner of Kusunoki Shrine) → Shinmachi Municipal Parking Lot → Suikei no Kobani → In front of JA → Along the Honkawa River → Honkawa Post Office → Riverland → Isomiya Hachiman Shrine
