The 35th “Takehara Bamboo Festival Take-Cos Day” will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026!

It has been held during Golden Week up to now, but the 35th “Takehara Bamboo Festival” will be held on Sunday, April 19.
We’re also planning a new event: the cosplay costume event “Take-Cos Day”!
The costume contest will run from 10:00 to 15:00 and will be held in parts of the Historic Preservation District and parts of the Takehara Station shopping street.
