It’s happening! The 20th Takehara Townscape Hina Doll Festival ✨

Explore the historic Edo-period streets in a kimono, surrounded by 200 sets of charming Hina dolls.
Why not experience the arrival of spring by enjoying Takehara’s beautiful townscape and Hina dolls together?
The “Children’s Hina Tour,” where kids parade through the Townscape Preservation District, is back again this year!
If you’d like to join, please apply using the form below by Monday, February 23, 2026.
“Kaguya Panda” will also be there on the day ♪

Ages 3 to 3rd grade of elementary school
*Participants must wear a kimono.

Event Details Schedule

Take a stroll through the Takehara Townscape Preservation District, adorned with 200 sets of Hina dolls, while wearing a kimono, and finish with a photo session.

10:00 AM – 10:45 AM: Registration
11:00 AM – 11:40 AM: Townscape Walk
11:50 AM –: Arrival at Shorenji Temple (Finish)
There will be a group photo session on the stone steps of Shorenji Temple.
