About the cosplay costume event “Takekos DAY”

We’re holding a new event called “Take-Cos DAY,” a cosplay and costume event, as part of the 35th Takehara Bamboo Festival!
You can enjoy taking photos in various settings throughout the venue.
We’re also holding a performance contest!
Show off your best cosplay or costume on stage and help us liven up the event.
If you’re planning to participate in cosplay or costumes, please read the “Take-Cos DAY Event Rules” before signing up.

[Contest]
Location: Daikoen (3591 Takehara-cho, Takehara City)
Time: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Entry Fee: 1,000 yen per group
*Participants must sign up via the dedicated application form.
*Please pay the entry fee at the reception on the day of the event.
*Payment is cash only.
Contest Eligibility
• Individuals or groups are both welcome to apply.
• Participants must be in cosplay or costume.
• If you need music for your stage performance, please bring a CD.
• Children under elementary school age must be accompanied by a guardian.
There are no restrictions on gender or age.
• Participation is limited to 20 groups. Please apply via the dedicated form; there will be a preliminary screening.
• Participants must check in by 11:30 AM (Reception at Takehara Elementary School Gym).
Please gather at the Daikoen 1st floor lobby by 1:45 PM.
• Stage performances are limited to 2 minutes and 30 seconds (including entry and exit).
