Kyukamura Ohkunoshima is a Japanese-style accommodation located in a peaceful spot on Ohkunoshima (Rabbit Island), a small island in the Seto Inland Sea that is home to about a thousand wild rabbits.

The hotel is one of 37 Kyukamura National Park Resort hotels across Japan. The multi-purpose kyukamura (vacation village) resorts are built in scenic spots and national parks to provide guests with opportunities to get close to nature and enjoy a variety of recreational activities.

The rooms at Kyukamura Ohkunoshima are Japanese style, with tatami mats, beds, and a shower. Two onsen (hot springs) are located at either end of the main building. Inside the hotel is a cafe, souvenir shop, and restaurant with buffet-style dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Outside the hotel is a large open park with a lawn and palm trees, and nearby is an outdoor swimming pool and tennis court. A five-minute walk from the hotel takes you to a swimming beach with white sand and clear blue water. Indoor activities, such as crafts and workshops, are also available.

Staying overnight at the hotel allows visitors to be on the island when the rabbits are at their most active during the early morning and late evening.

The hotel is the only one on Ohkunoshima and is popular with both young travelers and families.
