A fallen tree was confirmed around August 2025.
Designated as a city-important cultural property (natural monument) in April 2014, this giant Edohigan cherry tree stands over 15 m tall with a branch spread exceeding 19 m.
It is characterized by its “multi-trunked” form, where the trunk splits into four at about 40–50 cm from the base, making it the third-largest multi-trunked Edohigan in the prefecture.
Based on its size, the tree is estimated to be around 200 years old.
