Mr. Masayuki Imai is a leading expert in the zōgan (inlay) technique and one of the most prominent figures in Japanese ceramics, known worldwide.
This is the pottery studio and exhibition hall established by ceramic artist Masayuki Imai—also a member of the Japan Art Academy—on a hill overlooking the sea in his hometown of Takehara.
The “Hōzan Kiln” and the tea rooms “Shōseiken” and “Ryūkeitei” are also located on the same grounds.
