Stroll around the town at the gateway to Rabbit Island♪
Recommended Season: Spring / Summer / Fall / Winter
We have completely renovated our exhibition hall to coincide with the start of operations at the Takehara Thermal Power Plant’s new Unit 1, a state-of-the-art coal-fired facility.
The highlights you won’t want to miss include an introductory movie of the Takehara Thermal Power Plant using 4K projection mapping technology, and VR content that allows you to view major facilities and areas usually closed to the public from a full 360-degree perspective.
During the facility tour, you can also enjoy panoramic views of the Seto Inland Sea islands and the entire power plant from the rooftop of the new Unit 1 (approximately 80 meters high), as well as see the cutting-edge equipment inside.
