In business for 100 years.
A long-established sweets shop standing in the Preservation District, where the atmosphere of Edo still lingers.
Their signature “Choux Roll” is a popular item, wrapping castella cake and fresh cream in a fragrant choux pastry.
They also offer classic castella loved since the shop first opened, as well as a Western-style castella with a subtle brandy aroma.
Another highlight is their story-inspired Japanese sweets, such as “Hamasodachi,” a manju inspired by Takehara’s history as a town that prospered through salt fields.
With a wide selection from Japanese and Western sweets to cakes, it’s a place you’ll want to drop by while strolling around town.
