From 【Tea House Ichie -ICHIE-】 to 【rulé -1648-】…

“Tea House Ichie” sadly closed in March 2025.
With the desire to “keep this place’s light burning,”
it reopened in November of the same year as a new traditional sweets café, “rulé -1648-.”

The name comes from the French word “Relais” (rulé), meaning “relay station” or “stopover,”
and also carries the English meaning of “Relay”—passing thoughts and connections from person to person.

Renovated from a former inn over 100 years old, it’s a café where you can take a breather during your travels,
pause for a moment, and enjoy a relaxing time surrounded by sweets and warmth♪
