A shaved ice journey through the nostalgic town of Takehara, like writing a diary.

The Takehara Townscape Preservation District is a town steeped in history, lined with traditional houses and historic buildings.
This street, with its nostalgic charm preserved throughout, feels as though you have wandered into a novel,
enveloped in a special atmosphere full of emotion. In such a nostalgic Takehara summer, “kakigori” (shaved ice), beloved since long ago, is a perfect match.
This summer, we are holding a “Kakigori Digital Stamp Rally” featuring 10 participating restaurants in the Townscape Preservation District.
A summer exploring the carefully crafted shaved ice creations of each of the 10 establishments.
Please enjoy a special time that can only be experienced in Takehara, walking through the historic streets, savoring the flavors, and collecting stamps.
