Highlights & What to Do

Overlooking the Seto Inland Sea, Tokoura Shrine is a striking shrine featuring a large torii gate that faces the ocean.
Tokoura Beach, which stretches out beyond the torii gate, is gaining quiet popularity as a hidden gem for breathtaking views.
Every year in mid-April, the Miyatoko Festival is held in front of Tadanoumi Station to celebrate the shrine, bringing a lively atmosphere to the town.
The shrine grounds are also home to a Ubame oak tree, a prefectural natural monument, making it a special place where nature, faith, and coastal scenery harmonize.
